Wensha spa

Okay, so I guess you can quote me as a big fan of massages but hey what can I do? I just sooo love the relaxing feeling it just brings me. Okay, so lets start. My friend Khelly ask me out to go to Wensha located at Macapagal avenue near world trade center and boom na boom carnival and accompany her and her friend Len. So we meet up at around 1pm at the mrt station and went over at Khelly’s place since her dad driving us through the place. So we arrive at 2pm and have to wait for at least 15 mins to be allowed to go in since the Ladies area are still full. After 15 mins of waiting we are finally taken in and have to go on separate ways. The men’s locker room is on the left side and the Ladies locker room on the right side. Upon entering I was handed with a white towel and a magnetic key bracelet was give for my locker. I immediately took off my clothes and changed to my birthday suit. I then suddenly feel that am NOT comfortable with my “suit” so I politely asked the attendant there to check if they have some disposable undies, I was fortunate that they have one and it only cost me 20 bucks. So I went in the wet area and took a super quick shower. They have a shampoo and soap provided. After showering, I went to the steam room and I could say that it was of a decent size and the heat was acceptable…While inside I started to think about my plans in life and what I really wanted to become (naks), serious and senti moments. After some time I went out and was surprised to see a number of people in their birthday suit running around, jumping in the cold jacuzzi and just having fun. Feeling soooo awkward about the thought of showing up with a disposable undies I decided to take if off and be free! hahaha so, after a rejuvenating steambath and spa I decided to go and get my massage.

I went out of the wet area and was given a robe and silk shorts to changed outfit. Not knowing where to head to, I just roam around and saw the dinning area, and asked! lol…i was directed to a far corner of the room and at last I found the body massage area. It was nice since you can get to pick whether a male or a female therapist that is you want, so I picked out a male therapist since I wanted to spare the  female therapist with the flabs and fats in my huge body and finally get into the nerves and muscle area without exerting too much effort. So I was asked what oil should he use between ginger oil or mineral oil. I chose the mineral oil since there is an additional charge if I opted to request for the peppermint oil. The massage was great, I just sooo love the stretching part and when he step on back to put more pressure on it. After the massage I was given with a paper slip and asked me to fill it up with the amount of tip that am supposed to give him and sign. Which eventually I have to pay when I check out. After feeling relaxed and relieved I decided to go and get the foot massage!!

When I went in the foot massage area, I immediatly fell in love with the place, Lazy boy, LCD TV, headset, dark lit room and a cozy ambiance. It was a winner for me! So another male attendant assisted me and asked me if I wanted an OJ or Ice tead. I’d go for the ice tea. My foot was soaked in a warm water while I was laying on the super comfy lazy boy and the massage began. At first I thought it is only my foot that will get a massage I was surprised that even my head, back and arms was massage first then my feet came afterwards! This is life I said to myself. I was all worth it. This is also the time where I saw my two friends and was finally joined in together! :) Again, after the massage I signed in a piece of paper for the tip.

Then after the relaxing body and foot massage we decided to fill up out stomach! We went to the dinning area where they serve the ingredients for the shabu shabu thingy and a number of main courses was also served, rice, pancit and bottomless ice tea and OJ, provided you get to eat up ALL the food you got, you’ll be spared with the additional 300 charge for the food and 60 for the drink..

My overall rating for WENSHA spa….it’s definetly a must try experience to relieve us of the day to say stress in work and life it self. We need to pamper ourselves sometimes and just RELAX and CHILL….for a 1,088 php(excluding the tip) for the 2 massages and eat all you can shabu shabu food. It was definetly a money’s worth!

Having a PUGbaby….

Yet another pup to have! too excited to start writing and too occupied to start blogging. =) but, a last! a spare time to start…Let me introduce you first to my SHOBE (lil sis as translated in chinese) thats what I named my new pup since i really can’t think of another name..hehehe maybe you could help me out?! =D I got her on Sept 20, 2008. Weighting 1.6KLs very healthy and very active pup! It was the result of a trade with my p990i with RAV a very twisted guy who happen to be a vocalist of a band..After getting her from Rav, Rommel and i took her to the vet to have her checked and have her first deworm schedule. Am glad she turned out to be healthy and very active.

Now talking about my family’s initial reaction when they saw her… “ANG PUG-GNEEETTT” hahahaha with synchrony they all shouted that! hahaha but then when they took a second look at her they eventually changed their mind and said “ngyon lng kami nakakita ng cute na panget” hahahah then they all played with her, until she was tired out and slept.. To you guys a better view of her, here’s her pic on her first day at us!

First day high…

At last the long wait was over, I am now officially going back to school! It was some time in April, when we where in the US and I was doing nothing when I suddenly came up with an idea that it will be good if I’ll enforce my sound accounting knowledge with IT. So, I decided to enroll in a short course class in DLSU for “Introduction with programming with C”. Today was my first day and I think I had fun going back to school. I had sooo many wonderful memories way back in college and it just all pour down to me….But reality also struck me!!! I’m officially OLD!!! waaaahhh looking at these young kids with their witty and smart looks pair it up with the latest gadgets they look sooooo cool! i just wish I had one of those though…hehehe Anyways, our mentor was also a graduate from DLSU 2 yrs ago and is currently working at HP (what are the odds?), he’s a chinese guy that seems to strict and serious. After 20 mins of giving the overview of the course, we were told that we are going to have a project and it will determine if we’ll have our certificate or not, can you believe that? Oh well, I guess it’s just a gauge whether we learned something or anything from the course. I’ve also meet new friends Mingi, Kit, Tricia, Kristine and Bayan and also our mentor’s assistant which I forgot! lolzzz… I was a very small class of 6 but it was fun! Everybody came from different companies and all have different reason in taking the course. hehehe =). We also had tough exercises and we where also able to finish up to our day 2 slide! LOLZzzzz…. Looking forward on our next class this week! One vital thing I learned today it that programming is all about logic, creativity and being specific! =D
